My wife(our manager) and I went out to Dizzy D's (I think I spelled that right) just to try something new in the area. Apprarently it's been something else for years (BBC or something) and the newly aquired owner, Dennis, has worked at the place since 04' and just recently wanted to clean up the clientele that attend the bar. It has a relaxing atmposphere and after a game of pool and a beer or two realized there was a stage in the dark side corner of the bar! lol
We talked to the bar tender and the owner for a long while and ended up securing a gig June 14th on a Sunday to see what kind of crowd we can bring. As you know this is huge for us seeing as we have a hard time playing places around here. They're out to get butts in the seats, and so are we lol. There's no cover charge, and it's really closed to home, so if anyone wants to go, we hope to see you there!
BTW it's located on Deltona Blvd, in the Winn-Dixie/Infamous Dollar General Plaza. $7 pitchers with Mich Ultra, Bud Light, and I believe Bud on tap and a buttload of liquor/mix drinks.
Again a very friendly atmosphere, and a band I found on battleofthebands.com Psychomagnets from Daytona Beach are playing there and a couple of cover bands from the area, this month.
If anyone wants to see us live, there's no cover and it's a good way to meet face to face .
